Adele Thaxton
Board Certified Licensed Massage Therapist, RN
It is the goal of Healing Hands School of Massage to provide the finest in massage education and produce high quality technicians and therapists to service the community of Delaware. We strive for nothing less than excellence in education. Our philosophy is to take a holistic approach to teaching health and wellness through the power of touch. We make sure each student receives a well-rounded education in massage therapy and bodywork learning how to care for the client’s entire being from the inside out and from head to toe.
Adele Thaxton is the owner and operator of Healing Hands School of Massage. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 15 years and uses her medical background to assist with caring for her massage clients. Her knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology and Pathophysiology as a nurse has proven to be valuable to her working as a massage therapist.

Want a full body massage for just $40? Contact us to visit our student clinic. This is where students get the opportunity to work on their skills, learned techniques, and professionalism. Members of the community are invited into the school to receive a massage by a student for this exciting, discounted rate! At the end of service community members provide feedback to the student which assists students in knowing their level of performance. Community members can call the school at (302) 378-8562 to book an appointment.
