Meet President & CEO Adele Thaxton
Adele Thaxton is the owner and operator of Healing Hands School of Massage. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 17 years and uses her medical background to assist with caring for her massage clients. Her knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology and Pathophysiology as a nurse has proven to be valuable to her working as a massage therapist and as an educator. Adele graduated from the Academy of Massage & Bodywork in Bear, DE in 2018. To add to her list of duties, Adele also owns and operates Healing Hands a Massage Spa in Middletown, DE since September 2018.

Adele holds an Associate's Degree, a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Nursing. She did bedside nursing for over 12 years and taught nursing at Delaware Technical Community College and Wilmington University for a total of 9 years. Adele now finds more joy in massage and bodywork. Over the years, Adele has grown a love and passion for massage where she continues to grow and learn. The therapeutic work of massage is something she finds to be rewarding and feels joy seeing the difference she can make in helping others feel better with the touch of a hand. She puts all of her passion and love into her work because that is what she feels generates the best results for her clients and their overall well-being.
